Sex and The City 2!!!!

Sex and The City is one of my favorite tv series of all time. I started watching the series when it was airing its final season. A friend that lived in the same dorm at Ole Miss, owned every season on DVD and she made me start watching from the very first episode. By the end of Season 1, I was absolutely hooked!!!! Needless to say, when the last season was over, I was devastated. But.....lo and behold, Sex and The City The Movie was released!!!! It was amazing! I went to the theatres three times to see it, and I now own the dvd Wedding Edition. To say the least, I was ecstatic when I found out there was going to be a sequel!!!
Even though the shows are a tad provocative, it tells a great stories of lasting friendships, love, and life in general. Each episode teaches a mini life lesson. (Well, it did for me.)

Some Quotable Quotes:
"The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don't. But, in the end, they're the people you always come home to. Sometimes it's the family you are born into, and sometimes its the ones your make for yourself."

"But the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you can find someone to love the you you love, well, that's just fabulous.”

"I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love."
"Maybe some women aren't meant to be tamed. Maybe they need to run free until they find someone just as wild to run with them."

"It's good to know that the ones you love will always be in your heart. And if your very lucky, only a plane ride away."

"I make mistakes. That's what I do. I speak without thinking, I act without knowing. I drink so much that I can barely walk. I'm a fantastic lover though, and an amazing friend. God knows I mean well."

OIL...

So..I don't really know where to start about this oil tragedy. I feel so lost, helpless, and just deeply sad! I am very sad about what happened at the oil rig and I pray for the families of those who lost their lives. As for the rest of the problem, who really knows what exactly will happen with the Gulf Coast. I think it is far worse than what we are being told by the media and our President. Our beautiful, peaceful, serene beaches will be no more. Our wildlife, marine habitat, tourism, fishing and shrimping industries will be hit hard by this crisis. The fear of the unknown is what has me worried. I love living on the MS Gulf Coast and I hope that things start looking up soon.

Probably won't be anymore of these days for awhile.........soooooo sad!
